This week, students at the Brompton Hospital and Ladbroke Grove sites have been following in the footsteps of the bakers on the Great British Bake Off. The theme was 'biscuit week' and students were given the opportunity to make their very own Hobnobs! Students at Brompton opted for chocolate chip hobnobs, whilst students at the community site made chocolate covered Hobnobs. The biscuits were shared with the nurses at Brompton and amongst students and staff at Ladbroke Grove, with both sites receiving highly positive feedback on their bakes! Students found out that the name may have come from the two words 'hob' (to be cooked on a stove) and 'knobbly' relating to it's texture. Regardless of name, students have agreed we'll be putting our biscuits to the test in a future taste test of homemade vs the official 'hobnob'. Well done to all students involved.
