Students at the Brompton have been getting ready for Christmas during our ‘Festive Fridays’. For the past two weeks of December students have been baking festive treats. So far we have made gingerbread men and reindeers, which made the classroom smell amazing. Students had great fun creating their characters using icing pens, cake pens and mini M&M’s.

The following Friday students made a Christmas classic – mince pies! This year we tried a new recipe making mince pies using puff pastry. Again the classroom filled with the smell of Christmas, and the pastries came out perfectly golden. Well done to our students. Our staff are looking forward to recreating the recipes at home!
