Pop Art

Two primary students learnt about the art style Pop Art, focussing on the artist Andy Warhol. They looked at how Warhol uses bright colours and a key object, for example in his most famous painting of the tin of Campbell's soup.

The students then chose an item that is special to them for the focus of their painting. They thought carefully about which bold colours they would use to colour in both the main object and background.

Both of the finished paintings look great and definitely capture the Pop Art style brilliantly.
