Working at CCHS, you will be part of a fantastic team of teachers and learning assistants aiming to help young people with different behavioral and emotional challenges.
This is an opportunity to build on experience working with children and to gain an understanding of CAMHS, supporting students in primary and secondary school who have special educational needs.
As an intern, it is important to go with the flow of the week and get stuck in wherever possible, doing your best to participate in lessons and activities. You are a role model and additional help for young people and educators!
While this can be a challenging role, staying calm and asking for suggestions when needed are valuable for settling in and succeeding at CCHS. Being proactive throughout the day will be beneficial for sustaining an engaging classroom environment.
Overall, interning with CCHS is an extremely rewarding experience, where you will meet incredible staff members in a variety of fields and see the growth of young people throughout your time at the sites.
