Students at Lavender Walk explored the possibilities of making music and marbling with artist Chloe Cooper and musician Jackie Walduck. We held an exhibition showing their artworks and listened to their music. Our next step is to print sections of the art to be displayed in GP and hospital waiting rooms in K&C, along with a QR code to hear the music. Meanwhile have a listen and look at their creations!

I have just listened to all the recordings. I really do like them! I love the use of voice also. I especially like that sometime I can hear voices talking about the ideas in some of the recordings at the top of the list. One of my most favourite pieces to listen to is the 1955 Glen Gould recording of the Goldberg Variations. You can hear him thinking aloud as he plays this; totally immersed, and I was minded of that involvement in the music and composition listening to these pieces. Combined with the images, wonderful.

What a satisfying project - such a wonderful gift Jackie for students
To work with you mixing the music - the end result of the marbling merging with the music - is a success
