Crossing Borders exhibition taken down
We were shocked to discover that 'Crossing Borders', our exhibition of artworks produced by students from Gaza and our own students here at Chelsea Community Hospital School, has been taken down following complaints.
Here is an article in the Guardian newspaper describing what happened.
'Crossing Borders' was first shown in 2012 in the Nour Festival at Leighton House, since then it has been on display at the hospital.
Janette, our principal, described the project as “a wonderful example of how art can bring children together to help them cope with challenges in life. Our school has links with schools all over the world – bringing children together to share their experience of life”.
