We are looking to recruit an Art Therapist to join our Hospital School Team.

The role involves delivering individual and group art therapy to support children and young adults in hospital. This specialist role requires an art therapist with paediatric experience.

The post will initially be 1 day a week on The Royal Brompton children’s ward and increasing to 2 days a week in the post 16 Foulis ward within a month. Both provisions are specialist wards for heart and lung conditions with a large proportion of young people with cystic fibrosis.

This sessional post is funded by ArtSocial Foundation and will require additional reporting to them. The post includes fortnightly clinical supervision.

The successful candidate should have a flexible approach, have received training in Art Psychotherapy at Masters level with state HCPC registration. You should have experience of working in a clinical capacity with children, families and young adults with complex physical illness and experience in working in a multidisciplinary team.
